Two thousand years ago, a great spiritual leader Jesus of Nazareth, taught the common people to believe themselves by saying,"You are the light of the world." There is not a slight doubt about it and nobody can ever debate say that it is not true. It is true and we are indeed the light. You are the brightly shining light who cast away all the darkness and unclear path. Believe, you are the light to cast away all darkness and invisibility.
In India, there is a festival called 'Diwali' - a festival of light. It casts away the darkness and shadows that stand as obstacles to good life. I personally like the symbolic meaning of this festival because it is a celebration of light and not darkness. People in India on the occasion of Diwali light their houses and yards with earthen lamps and it signifies a great meaning for those who understand the celebration in true spirit.
Since the age of human civilization, light or fire has played a very significant role in people's life and it is this light which is present in each of us guides, directs and helps people to live a better life. Somewhere on the way, people lost the sense of awareness and didn't believe themselves that they were indeed the light.
You have within you the light that can shine and brighten your future and the path if you really believe that you are the light. Each one must light one's lamp and carry the light to shine so that there won't be darkness spreading all over the world. Today people have forgotten the truth that they are the light who can actually brighten their future. So search for your light and go ahead in illuminating your life and the life of others.
Recognize your light and use your light to brighten the world, people's lives, your life and your family's life. See the light and not the wrong things. Forgive the errors to welcome the light so that there will be light everywhere. You may not be successful now but you will become soon if you believe you have the light to shine brightly. The sun light penetrates every soul and there is light within you. You don't lack that light or sparkle to make your future bright.
