We are the average of five people we hang around with!

People in our life do influence us. They programme us so much that they determine who we will become, what we will get, who we will marry, who will be our friends and what will be our life-style or standard of living. Jim Rohn often used to say that 'our income will be the average of the five closest people we spend our most time with'. This statement makes so much sense that there is no room for any doubt.

Prior to undertaking personal development, I used to have victim friends but now those victim friends are no longer in touch with me. I used to think they forgot me but later I understood that I had moved forward, I had grown up and made a substantial progress in gaining consciousness as a result my old friends remained where they used to be. Old friends do fade away as we gain greater consciousness. The spiritual laws of prosperity do work and I am glad I came to know Randy Gage who had posted his videos about prosperity on You Tube.

We are indeed the average of the five people we spend our most time with and as we hang around, they in turn influence our thinking, attitudes, behaviours, life-style, education and books we will read. It takes tons of education to unravel the old programs because it is not easy to unscramble the acquired habits. So be careful who you associate with and what they do for you in terms of attaining your goals, dreams and financial abundance.

If you want to become successful and rich, hang around with such people. If you don't have any personal chance to meet them physically, see them on the internet, download their photos, articles and think about them and take them as your mentors or coaches and you will be glad one day that you did this exercise. Similarly, you don't have to associate physically with successful and rich people, you just need to read their biographies over the internet and if you get an opportunity to buy books written by them you can read them and follow their insights and experiences to change your course of life.

Remember you can become millionaires and billionaires if you associate with such people though not physically but mentally reading and learning about them on the internet or books. Once you have gained enough consciousness or have become a kind of person that requires one to meet such people, you will have many opportunities to meet them during your life time. You will have friends from higher spectrum of society.

"You must constantly ask yourself these questions: who am I around? What are they doing to me? What have they got me reading? What have they got me saying? Where do they have me going? What do they have me thinking? And most important, what do they have me becoming? Then ask yourself the big question: Is that okay?" Jim Rohn
