A Small Action weighs more than a library of Information

Great men and women who made themselves successful in their chosen fileds became great because they understood the law of action, the law of taking a small action at a time to achieve any degree of success they could imagine. They made a strong decision to take one precious step at a time.

A small action indeed weighs more than a library of information. A library of information is certainly needed to help change one's programming, but it is not enough. It doesn't serve the whole purpose of life. A small action to act upon the acquired information determines one's success in life.

I like the quote by Friedrich Engels, "An ounce of action is worth a ton of theory."

Bill Gates, for example, learned to take a first small action and then he went on and on to refine and update his skills more and more and we know what that small action weighs today in the world.

The world population today is over 6 billion and we can know for certain how many take that small action to begin with. It is a hypothetical statment to say, if those 6 billion people took a small action everyday towards making a dream come true, we can at least believe that a goal or a dream can be easily realized.

Today, Internet has become one of the most effective tools in reaching out to those 6 billion people, but that one small action proved the internet a great success. The small action by the inventor or visionary led the internet empire to spread all over the world making life easier and accessible.

I think the message is clear for all of us to educate ourselves to take that small action on daily basis and if we keep that rythem, life on earth can be a promising one.
